About us
The Free Minds Association was founded in 1998 by a group of youngsters. It’s main objectives are civic education and the promotion of european ideas in the spirit of liberal democracy.
Our activities are mainly focused on the Danube-Cris-Mures-Tisa (DKMT) Euroregion, a cross-border co-operation between the Romanian counties Timis, Arad, Caras-Severin and Hunedoara, the Hungarian counties Csongrad, Bekes and Bacs-Kiskun, and the region Vojvodina from Serbia-Montenegro.
Our main focus is cross-border cooperation within this euroregion which, because of it’s ethnical and religious diversity, can be called “a small Europe”.
